TEAM BERGAMONT-ENDURA

This year I will be racing with the Bergamont-Endura Team as one of the U23 XC riders - I am excited about representing both Bergamont and Endura at events around New Zealand, as well as learning from some very experienced team-mates. Roll on Nationals!

Bergamont is the largest and most reputable bike manafacturer in Germany. Craig Sharratt and the team have graced us with their presence in New Zealand and are doing a fantastic job supplying us Kiwis with quality German machinery. What attracted me to Bergamont in the first place was they are German bikes. German engineering is the best in the world and I knew that Bergamont would have put thousands of hours of R&D into perfecting every aspect of the ride. A cconsiderate combination of the best componentry and build quality has led to Bergamont being one of the most diverse and leading manafacturers in the world. I walk past my bike in the hallway everyday and smile knowing that yep, I ride a Bergamont. Here's a few photos to entice you:

Endura? Hey, I've heard of them before! Yep - you may even have some of their kit! Endura is a leading European cycle clothing supplier that originated in the hardy highlands of Scotland. Nigel Blanchard from Traverse Sports is the man running Endura NZ and is doing a great job promoting the clothing. Endura is known world-wide for its quality clothing and caters for all types of cyclists, from roadies to downhillers to commuter extraordinaires. Jack Bauer, one of NZ's roadie stars rides for the Endura Racing team in Europe, so it is fairly safe to say that Endura look after their Kiwis. If you want to get your mits on some seriously quality kit, head down to your local bike store and have a browse - or if you are stuck at work with "nothing" to do - visit www.endurasport.co.nz

Photos of our team kit will be up soon!

Keep an eye out on the Bergamont website for team profiles and updates over the next couple of weeks. Even better, come and have a chat to us, Craig, or Nigel when you see us at events. We love talking bikes and hearing about your epic missions, and if you feel like yelling encouragement at us when we are racing, we'll love that too!
